How do the artists come up with the designs just from an order form?
The Order Form combined with the Questionnaire you filled out when joining Sorpresos gives the artist a brief description about you and the person for which you are ordering a gift.
Why do you ask questions like "who is/was my favorite cartoon character"?
Have you ever been to a party and met people for the first time? The kind of questions asked while getting to know someone are: where are you from, what do you do for a living, do you have any kids? The questions in the Questionnaire are designed to dig a little deeper in understanding your personality.
How can you make a design I have requested for my loved one based upon my profile?
Many of the purchases we make (cars, clothes, music, etc) are based upon our personalities, well, first how much money we have, then our personalities. The Questionnaire and the Order Form are just enough information for the artists to "interpret" what they think you would like to give to your loved one.
My print was destroyed. Can I get another?
Yes. Your orders are stored for life and can be reprinted for the cost of the print only. You will not have to pay the $5 to the artist again.
Do the artists have access to my account as well as my profile?
No. The artist receives a file that includes your Questionnaire Profile, but no other information, other than the Order Form.
Can the artist sell my design?
No. The artist has signed an agreement that basically says he or she owns no copyright to the design because the photos used in that design belong to you. However, Sorpresos allows the artist to display the design on his or her Portfolio page so that others can view the artist's style.
